🎉 My birthday wish: Help me reach the mom who thinks she's failing (she's not)

Speaking Life Into Motherhood EP 48

Beyond ADHD:

Simple Systems For Executive Functioning Challenges Every Exhausted Mom Needs to Know

Hey mama,

Growing up, my parents lovingly called me "the Tasmanian Devil."

I could walk into a perfectly clean room and within minutes—tornado. Clothes everywhere. Drawers open. Papers scattered.

I wasn't trying to be messy. I genuinely didn't even notice.

And honestly? I still struggle with this. The procrastination. The forgetting where I put things. The getting distracted halfway through a task.

Does any of this sound like you or your child? Maybe you or they are needing some supporting in executive functioning!

In this week's episode, I'm sharing my personal journey with executive functioning struggles and the simple systems that transformed not only my life but how I support my kids and can help you as well!

You'll discover:

  • What executive functioning actually is (hint: it's your brain's CEO)
  • Why movement is one of the most powerful tools for improving focus
  • Four practical systems you can start THIS WEEK
  • How God provided support systems for Moses's weaknesses—and He's doing the same for you

EP 48: Beyond ADHD: Simple Systems For Executive Functioning Challenges Every Exhausted Mom Needs to Know

Biblical Reflection

Mama, Moses knew his limitations. He told God straight up: "I'm not a good speaker. Send someone else."

But God didn't fix Moses's weaknesses. He didn't magically make Moses a perfect communicator.

Instead, God provided support systems. He sent Aaron to help.

That's exactly what we're doing when we create rhythms and systems for ourselves and our children. We're not trying to "fix" weak executive functioning. We're providing support so that both we and our kids can do what God has called us to do.

You don't have to be perfect. You don't have to have it all figured out.

You just need to recognize where you need support—and put systems in place.

God will do the rest.

"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me." - 2 Corinthians 12:9

You know what I mean. She's just naturally more patient/brave/capable than me." But what if that's not the whole story?...
