Hi friend,
I'm excited to share the latest podcast episode featuring Sarah Fraser, author of "I Didn't Sign Up for This". Sarah opens her heart about adopting a daughter from China whose special needs were more complex than initially understood, and how she's successfully homeschooled her nonverbal daughter for years.

📖 This Week's Devotional: Strength in Weakness
"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me." - 2 Corinthians 12:9 |
Reflection
How often do we feel inadequate for the tasks before us? In our conversation with Sarah, she repeatedly mentioned feeling ill-equipped to homeschool her daughter with special needs. Yet this is precisely where God's strength shines brightest.
When we say "I didn't sign up for this" or "I can't handle this," we're actually creating space for God's power to be displayed. Our limitations become the canvas for His limitless ability.
Sarah's journey reminds us that God doesn't call the equipped; He equips the called. He sees beyond our self-perceived inadequacies to the beautiful work He plans to accomplish through us.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, when I feel overwhelmed by responsibilities I didn't choose or challenges I don't feel prepared for, remind me that Your grace is sufficient. Help me to see my limitations not as obstacles but as opportunities for Your power to work through me. Give me the courage to take the next step, knowing You walk beside me. May I find rest in Your goodness, even when my story shifts in unexpected ways. In Jesus' name, Amen.
