Hi friend,
I'm excited to share this week's powerful episode featuring Becca Pass, a military spouse and adoptive mom whose five-year adoption journey led her to an unexpected ministry. Becca openly shares about the challenges of adoption, including industry practices that concerned her as a Christian, and how God used her waiting period to reveal a greater purpose - supporting birth mothers as a doula and mentor.
β
In this eye-opening conversation, you'll discover:
- The reality of modern adoption and how to navigate it as a Christian family
- Essential red flags to watch for when working with adoption professionals
- How God can use difficult waiting seasons to prepare us for greater purposes
- Practical steps for supporting expectant mothers through the adoption process

π Weekly Devotional: The Purpose in Our Waiting
"But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."
- Isaiah 40:31

Reflection: How often do we view waiting as wasted time? Yet throughout Scripture, we see God using seasons of waiting to prepare His people for greater purposes. Like Becca's story shows us, sometimes our greatest ministry can emerge from our deepest struggles. Today, consider how God might be using your current season of waiting to prepare you for His purposes.
β
Prayer: Heavenly Father, help us trust You in our waiting seasons. When we feel stuck or frustrated, remind us that You are working even when we cannot see it. Give us the courage to remain faithful and the wisdom to recognize the ways You might be preparing us for something greater than we imagined. Guide us to use our struggles to serve others and bring glory to Your name. Help us to support and uplift others who are in their own seasons of waiting, whether they're walking through adoption, special needs parenting, or other challenging journeys. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Some days are just HARD. My favorite way to relax and regulate is to roll on some Adaptiv essential oil. If I'm lucky, I mix it with epsom salt and put it in a bath! Use it when you start to feel the fear creeping in. The smell provides amazing calming benefits.
